last saturday the kiddies and i (the hubby too) got the opportunity to attend “Snoopy’s Costume Party” in Camp Spooky at Knott's Berry Farm. talk about a fun family activity....we had a blast. my kiddies haven't stopped talking about it since. so i guess we will be going back!
during the weekends in October, Camp Snoopy is transformed into Camp Spooky! where you can go to “Snoopy’s Costume Party." this daytime, non-scare event is geared towards little ones ages 3 – 11 and takes place on weekends between the hours of 10:00 am – 5:30 pm. it is a celebration of cheer rather than fear, and is the event of the season with shows, activities and of course, trick or treating. kiddies can take part in the “Monster Dance Party and Costume Parade,” sing and dance along with the Peanuts gang at the “Peanuts Halloween Spooktacular,” walk through the “Haunted Harvest” cornfield maze and even visit “Linus’s Foam-tastic Pumpkin Patch." don't forget to wear you costumes!
my kiddie's favorite was trick-or-treating! you get to pick up a trick-or-treat bag and map as you enter Camp Snoopy. the map tells you where each candy station is, where you can do crafts and other Halloween activities. as you go to each station you can mark it off on your map. super fun.
we also loved that the wait time for lines wasn't very long. we were able to go on almost every ride in Camp Spooky! we also got fun pictures with Snoopy and some fun monsters (or at least i tried....the kiddies were to busy having fun to sit still) and after that, we ventured off to enjoy the rest of Knott's Berry Farm. our favorites: the Pony Express, Timber Mountain Log Ride, The Calico Railroad Train, Bigfoot Rapids and just the great atmosphere. Knott's Berry Farm really has that down to earth, good ole' family fun feel.
Parking is easy at Knott’s and if you have little kids and Camp Snoopy is such a fun outing, even if you only want to go for a couple of hours.

{disclosure: my family received complimentary media tickets to attend "Snoopy's Costume Party." the opinions expressed are mine. we had a fabulous time. thank you Knott's Berry Farm.}

Do you have any tips, advice, or patterns that you used to make the woodstock costume? Hoping to make one for my newborn for Halloween this year! Thank you!
