now that Halloween is over, i officially declare it to be the holiday season here in Orange County. believe it or not, events are beginning to pop up all around Southern California!  i have compiled a list of over 100 Holiday Events in Orange County, including Christmas events, Hanukkah events and winter celebrations.  all of these events are family-friendly, and take place around the OC and SoCal this holiday season.

so get your calendar out, pick the ones that look the most fun for you and your family, and get ready to make this wonderful season one that your family remembers! Santa Events
Irvine Park Railraod Christmas Train to Santa

Pacific Island Holiday Festival

The Pacific Island Holiday Festival is an annual community event jointly produced by Hālau Hula Lani Ola & the Pacific Islander Health Partnership. The Chill

An experience like no other, CHILL transforms over two million pounds of sparkling ice into larger than life hand carved colorful ice sculptures in the 14,000 square-foot Igloo called The Ice Kingdom, located inside the Queen Mary’s Dome, formerly home to the legendary Spruce Goose.     There is a great festival of trees at the Order of the Eastern Star Senior Living Community. Santa will be there. Great decorated trees, crafters, food trucks, and more. It is the first weekend of December in Yorba Linda. It is free to attend.

    i’ve never seen your blog before but I found it today and was very appreciative of the work you put in compiling the holiday events. Thank you for including Hanukkah events as well. The Chabad’s do Menorah Lightings as well – one at the Spectrum and one at the district and I think one at UCI, so you may want to include those events.
    Also, I was a bit surprised not to see the South Coast Plaza tree lighting at the Westin this past November. It’s a wonderful full show featuring singers and dancers from the Orange County School of the arts (my son is a dancer there) and attracts hundreds and hundreds of people.
