Thanksgiving Leftover Turkey Sandwich Recipe

If you've got some leftover turkey and need an idea of a tasty meal to make with it, then this Thanskgiving Leftover Turkey Sandwich Recipe may be right up your alley.

Layered with leftover Thanksgiving turkey, cranberry sauce, bacon, muenster cheese and creamy dijon sauce, it's sure to become a day after Thanksgiving tradition. Best thing about this recipe, not only do you get to use up this turkey leftovers, but you don't have to cook. It's easy peasy to make with all the flavor. Who needs to cook two days in a row.

To make these tasty Thanksgiving Turkey Leftovers Sandwiches, you will need brioche buns (or bread of your choice), leftover turkey, muenster cheese, crispy thick-cut bacon, whole berry cranberry sauce, lettuce and creamy dijon sauce.

I would say the best thing about this Turkey Leftovers Sandwich Recipe, is that it takes little time and little effort to repair. It's nice not having to cook two days in a row. Time to give yourself a break.

How to make the Creamy Dijon Sauce

First, you will need to make the creamy dijon sauce, which takes only a few seconds. Start by placing the mayonnaise, garlic powder and dijon mustard in a small bowl. Now stir together until combined.

Ingredients

  • 4 brioche buns or bread of your choice
  • 1 pound leftover turkey
  • 8 slices muenster cheese
  • 8 slices thick-cut bacon cooked crispy
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Lettuce

Creamy Dijon Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Make the Dijon sauce first by placing all the ingredients in a small bowl and stirring together until combined.
  • Top bread with some of the dijon sauce, ¼th of the turkey, 2 slices muenster cheese, one slice of bacon torn in half, some lettuce, and a smear of the cranberry sauce. Top with the other side of the bun, enjoy!
