Easiest Mexican Food Party

By Jill Parkin • Published: Jun 29, 2013 · Updated: Feb 2, 2021

This is a sponsored post for Del Real Foods.

when Del Real Foods asked me to try out their pre-made authentic Mexican foods, i was really interested. Del Real Foods is a family owned company that strives to make healthier versions of Mexican food favorites, made with high quality ingredients without preservatives and virtually allergen free. their food is packaged ready to heat and eat. i was really skeptical that it would be really good...afterall, how can prepackaged food taste freshly made?

when i got my party food, i invited my family over to have dinner and try out the Del Real Foods.  talk about the easiest dinner party. i was able to prepare our entire fiesta in under 30 minutes including setting up this amazing spread. and with no preparation dishes to do!

we enjoyed authentic Mexican favorites such as chicken tamales and fresh made salsa.

it was my first time trying Pupusas which are especially good topped with a cabbage slaw and a dallop of crema fresca. these ones were filled with cheese and bell peppers.

the Frijoles Refritos had great flavor and tasted just like the ones you get in a Mexican restaurant. my kids gobbled them up.

and the meats were delicious. seasoned just right, we tried the carnitas, chili verde and the pollo asada which tasted like it just came off the barbecue grill. we made street tacos with the Del Real meats and topped them off with homemade guacamole, cilantro and Del Real Foods salsa. YUM!

check out my plate of food. you would never know i was able to prepare this fiesta in just a matter of minutes. i was so happy at the easiness of this meal and how good it tasted.

That looks so good. It would be nice to have something different to have for dinner, and some days after work I'm too pooped to cook! Hubby & I adore different cuisines. I'd love to try these dishes.

Yum! This sounds like my kind of meal. I am curious to try the tamales. Every Christmas we have tamales and it is really the only time I eat them because I have yet to find comparable goodness like my mom has made. I am always open to trying others to see if I can find something that could fill that craving!! 🙂
