someone around here loves animals....especially horses and dinosaurs. i thought it would be fun to make coffee play dough for him, because it looks like dirt and mud. perfect to play with his animals in....and perfect for little boys who like mud. it didn't cost me anything because i had all the ingredients except the used coffee grinds, which i asked the Starbucks guy to save for me since i don't drink coffee. i picked them up the next day...free!
• 2 cups used coffee grounds
• 1 ½ cups cornmeal
• ½ cup salt
• 1 tablespoon cream of tartar
• 1 tablespoon oil
water
flour
mix all ingredients until pliable. add water, flour as needed to achieve a working consistency. store in a ziploc or tupperware in a cool place or refrigerator.
