Berry Jam Teacher Appreciation Gift | printable

it’s that time of year again, time for teacher appreciation week. if you have been searching the internet for something to give your teacher, here is an idea that is simple and yummy. how about giving your teacher a jar of homemade jam.

i made these for my kid’s teachers on the last day of school last year, and they were a big hit. i made their everyday teachers large jars of jam, and other teacher helpers and workers around the school got small jars of jam.

freezer jam is super simple to make. all you need is strawberries, sugar, and a box of Sure-jell (comes in a yellow box). follow the directions for the freezer jam. i use my blender to puree the 2 cups of strawberries. make sure to measure your ingredients accurately. one box makes approximately two large mason jars or 5 small mason jars of jam.

and there is no wrapping necessary.  i have include the free berry jam printable for you to use. just print it onto cardstock and place it between the jar lids. you can also tie a ribbon with a card to top. there are too option to choose from, “Thanks for being a BERRY nice teacher” and “Thanks for being BERRY sweet.”

Phineas and Ferb: Live Stage Show

i don’t know about yours, but my kiddies love Phineas and Ferb. even my husband loves Fineas and Ferb. and when they found out that there was a Fineas and Ferb Live Show coming to southern California, they haven’t stopped asking me if we were going to see it.

Disney’s Phineas and Ferb: The Best LIVE Tour Ever!, produced by Feld Entertainment, is bringing Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Isabella, Baljeet, Buford and friends to the stage as they make the most of the last day of summer by building an invention bigger, better and more amazing than ever. before anyone can wonder “Hey! Where’s Perry?,” the pet platypus dons his Agent P fedora, and hilarious hijinks unfold as he battles Dr. Doofenshmirtz to save the Danville Tri-state area and audiences everywhere from the evil scientist’s most havoc-wreaking scheme to date.

audiences will be whisked on a high-energy ride that is part action adventure and part rock concert, while they move it and shake it to a soundtrack of hit songs from the animated series, including “Gitchee Gitchee Goo,” “Squirrels in My Pants,” “Backyard Beach,” “Busted,” “Today is Gonna Be a Great Day,” and “Summer Belongs to You.” familiar songs serve as a main ingredient in the plot, advancing the story from scene to scene, while taking on a whole new feel when fused with fresh, original choreography and inventive special effects.
