Roger's Gardens Halloween Boutique is back for the season, and you'll definitely want to add a visit to your fall bucket list. They didn't hold back when creating this year's boutique. There are so many spooky details, elaborate displays, and creepy surprises around every corner. Dani wanted to go and do a "creepy" photoshoot, so that is what we did! The photos below of are of her being "creepy!"
What Is the Roger's Gardens Halloween Boutique?
Roger's Gardens is one of Orange County's premiere garden centers. Located in Corona del Mar, each fall, Roger's Garden transforms part of its garden into an elaborate, immersive Halloween experience. It's part shopping boutique, part theatrical installation, with detailed rooms, displays, Halloween and fall décor, collectibles, and more.
2026 Theme: Moonlight Masquerade
As I mentioned before, Roger's Garden has a new theme every year for the boutique. This year's theme is Moonlight Masquerade. Think...Venetian-inspired Halloween, eerie moonlight, candles, elaborate gilded masks, a Palazzo of Whispers, a Bridge of Sighs, all creating an elegant spooky, rather than traditional, haunted-house. Roger's Gardens describes the theme as a journey into "mystery, enchantment, and Venetian intrigue."
What You'll See Inside the Halloween Boutique
The boutique is rather large and consists of different rooms each decorated with a different Moonlight Masquerade theme. This year's rooms include: The Gilded Vestibule, The Serpent's Soiree, The Veiled Gallery, The Monarch Salon, The Hall of Relics, and The Crystal Atrium. Plus there is a garden atrium area that has spooky decorations that was probably our favorite area to explore.
Halloween Décor and Shopping
Although many people go to the boutique to window shop, Roger's Garden Halloween Boutique is definitely for shopping. There is a huge collection of Halloween merchandise, including Venetian-style masks, pumpkins and jack-o'-lanterns, witches, skeletons and skulls, ghosts, collectible figures, candles, lighting, tabletop décor, books, gifts and seasonal accessories.

Is Roger's Gardens Halloween Boutique Kid-Friendly?
The question of "Is Roger's Gardens Halloween Boutique Kid-Friendly?" truly depends on your individual children. The boutique is visually spooky and sometimes creepy, but it isn't a traditional haunted attraction with scare actors chasing people.
Some younger or sensitive children may find skeletons, eerie characters and darker displays creepy. But if your child is fine looking at Halloween decor, being in candlelit rooms, and walking amongst skeleton and witch decor, you shouldn't have an issue.
My only other note: Roger's Garden Halloween Boutique is filled with upscale, high priced items. If you think that your child will have a hard time not touching or accidentally breaking things, I would choose not to go.

If you are going to the boutique, more than likely you are looking to get some spooky and festive Halloween photos. The Moonlight Boutique is not going to disappoint. There are so many photo ops to enjoy. Make sure to snap some photos of:

Don't Miss the Rest of Roger's Gardens
The Halloween Boutique is definitely the main attraction at Roger's Garden during fall, but you don't want to miss out on exploring the rest of the garden center. There is lots to explore outside the Halloween Boutique, too. There are fall plants, flowers, seasonal displays, pumpkins, a beautiful waterfall, garden arbors, shopping, and other areas to enjoy. We especially love the varieties of pumpkins and gourds they have on display. It's almost like a pumpkin patch. It's more of a fall outing than just a walk through a boutique.
Tips for Visiting Roger's Gardens Halloween Boutique
Here are some of my best tips for visiting the Roger's Garden Halloween Boutique:
- Visit earlier in the day if you want fewer crowds - they only let a certain amount of people in the boutique at once, so you may have to wait outside during peak times.
- Allow time to walk slowly through the displays - there is a lot to see!
- Bring your camera - So many fun photo ops.
- Keep little kids close because displays can be fragile - and expensive.
- Expect weekends to be busier - There is usually a long line. However, it does seem to go quickly.
- You don't have to purchase anything to enjoy walking through
- If you are planning to purchase items, go earlier in the season to get the best pick of the boutique.
- Parking can take some time. The parking lot is small. However, they offer valet parking in the back near the restaurant.
- Roger's Gardens is dog friendly!

For us, the Roger's Gardens Halloween Boutique is one of those Orange County fall traditions we look forward to every year. Even if you don't buy a single decoration, the creativity and detail that go into the displays make it worth the visit. It definitely sets the mood for the season...and we love it!
