Calling All Ghosts and Goblins! The Discovery Cube Orange County is hosting their First-Ever Pumpkin Palooza Festival this Halloween!
Beginning October 6th through October 31, 2022, Discovery Cube's Orange County's location will celebrate a month of Scientific Thrills and Chills with the opening of their newest spooky exhibit, Pumpkin Palooza!
Discovery Cube Orange County, is celebrating Halloween season with the introduction of a brand-new festival of science fun Pumpkin Palooza! Now replacing Discovery Cube OC's past Spooky Science exhibit, Pumpkin Palooza will delight visitors of all ages for the Halloween season.
Orange County’s first-ever Pumpkin Palooza Festival at Discovery Cube is going to be perfect for kids to discovery the science behind the pumpkin and beyond! Dress the kids in their favorite costumes, join Pumpkinology 101 activities, and come dance to Halloween-themed music at the fun Pumpkin Palooza Dance Party.
There will be two floors of freaky fun, bumper cars, life-size corn mazes, inflatables, a giant Pumpkin Octopus, illuminated carved pumpkins, pumpkin sculptures and more. There is surer to be something for every little ghost and goblin this October.
What Halloween Activities Does Pumpkin Palooza Include?
Discovery Cube Orange County will host some of the most scientifically silly Halloween activities conjured up in a lab, including:
- The Pumpkin Palooza Dance Party – A 30-minute, interactive dance party that includes a giant 20 ft. projection-mapped DJ named "Jack-o-Lynn" spinning some of today's most popular dance hits.
- Ride Boo's Bumper Cars – Caution! Little ghosts and goblins will be flying around a man-made track as they learn the laws of motion and speed.
- Crazy Mazes – Guests will unleash their cognitive abilities as they make their way through two crazy maze challenges.
- Pick-A-Pumpkin Patch – Look no further, you will find the cutest pumpkins in this patch as guests pick and play amongst the gourds.
- Pumpkin science demonstrations & pumpkin launching.
- And much more!
Special Trick or Treat Experience at Pumpkin Palooza
There will be a very special Trick or Treating experience on Sunday October 30 and Halloween day, Monday October 31, 2022. So make sure to wear your costume!
Pumpkin Palooza Dance Party at Discovery Cube
There will be a timed dance party at Pumpkin Palooza every Thursday through Sunday in October. Kids can dance like an Egyptian on a 10,000 square-foot interactive dance floor. It will have a projection-mapped DJ spinning some of today's best kids tunes!
Dance party time slots are 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm, and will be happening on the dates list below:
- Thursday, October 6 through Sunday, October 9
- Thursday, October 13 through Sunday, October 16
- Thursday, October 20 through Sunday, October 23
- Thursday, October 27 through Monday, October 31
Can you wear costumes to Pumpkin Palooza?
Yes! Guests are encouraged to wear costume to make the experience extra fun. There will even be costume parades every Saturday and Sunday. So don't forget to dress the kids in their favorite Halloween costumes.
How Much Does Pumpkin Palooza Cost?
You must purchase an event ticket in addition to your Discovery Cube general admission ticket or membership. Tickets to attend this fall festival and dance party are $5 each. Space will be limited, so reserve your ticket early.
