Irvine Park Railroad Easter Eggstravaganza is a springtime celebration! ride the train, decorate cookies and meet the Easter bunny.
the Irvine Park Railroad Easter Eggstravaganza park area and photo stands are free, but you must pay the entrance fee to Irvine Park ($3 on weekdays, $5 on weekends).

open 7 days a week (weather permitting)
weekdays: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
weekends: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

and if that isn't enough, you can visit the OC Zoo, or you can head over to the lake and rent a paddle boat, surrey or one of the many fun bikes at Fun Wheel Rentals. wow...i am already getting excited.
