Discovery Science Center & Future Scientists and Engineers of America & and The Boeing Company team up to offer a FREE day of hands-on science and family fun at the 19th annual Rocket Launch. this community event is a family-friendly activitiy where families can design, build and launch their own rockets made of two-liter plastic soda bottles. the competition will consist of creating and launching a bottle water rocket (yes, you will get wet) and the payload with the longest "hang time" in the air wins! you will also get the chance to meet Astronaut Chris Ferguson, compete and win prizes!
