Carlsbad Flower Fields.

the colors have arrived at one of my favorite places to go each year, The Flower Fields in Carlbad, California. we started going when my oldest was just a tot. mainly because he was in love with tractors, and going to the fields meant riding among the fragrant flower in a giant tractor. he loved it.

now we continue to plan a trip every year. sometimes it’s a weekend, where we hit a couple beaches, Legoland and The Flower Fields. sometimes it is just a day trip. i don’t see a weekend adventure this year, but hopefully we will make it before the baby comes.
it is a great trip for the whole family…you can adventure out along the trails of flowers, there is a picnic area, gift shop, yummy treats, playground and wagon rides. so hope that you have a chance to go this year. here is some info to help plan a visit:

  2. This Saturday the Carlsbad Flower Fields is doing a Kids Day from 9-5.

    Things like Meeting Ronald McDonald from 2-3pm, play in the snow and go sledding from noon-5pm, puppets, face painting, animal balloons, etc…

    Should be a fun event!
