Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry Milkshake Recipe

By Jill Parkin • Published: Apr 8, 2017 · Updated: Apr 30, 2024

The Boysenberry Festival is happening right now at Knott's Berry Farm. It's one of Knott's most loved events of the year. There are over 100 different boysenberry foods to choose from boysenberry pizza to boysenberry cheesecake dipped in chocolate....YUM!!!!

I decided to create a Knott's Boysenberry Milkshake with some of the boysenberry products I bought at Knott's Berry Market. Some of the items I purchased were boysenberry punch concentrate, boysenberry honey and boysenberry cotton candy.

Monster milkshakes are all the rage right now....so what way to better celebrate the boysenberry festival, than with a monster boysenberry milkshake.

How to Make A Knott's Boysenberry Monster Milkshake

To make a Knott's Boysenberry Milkshake, you will need the following items:

  • Berry Market Boysenberry Preserves
  • Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry Punch Concentrate
  • Boysenberry Cotton Candy
  • Boysenberry Honey
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Vanilla Frosting
  • Whipped Cream
  • Sprinkles
  • Clear Jar or glass

The full recipe on how to make a Knott's Boysenberry Milkshake is at the end of this post. But here are some easy step-by-step instructions on how to make it.

Step 1 - In a blender, add the ice cream and milk. Blend till smooth.

Step 2 - Add the boysenberry punch concentrate and the boysenberry preserves.

You can also add fresh berries at this time, about a handful. Or Knott's also sell them in a can. Boysenberries are usually hard to find, so if you can't find any, blackberries will work.

Did you know? The boysenberry, is a cross between a loganberry, red raspberry and blackberry, so they go perfect together.

Step 4 - Now it's time to make your boysenberry monster shake. Using frosting, frost the rim of a large mason jar or glass container.

Lightly press the cotton candy around the edge so it stick into the frosting.

The boysenberry honey looks pretty dripping down the sides of the jar. Make sure to place the milkshake jar on a plate.

Step 5 - Pour the milkshake into the glass jar. Then top with whipped cream.

Top with sprinkles and a fresh berry! Fun straws are also a cute touch.

Now it's time to enjoy your Knott's Boysenberry Milkshake. It tastes AMAZING...like creamy, frozen boysenberry punch!

So so good. Hope you enjoy!
