Oh man, I thought I commented! So for Valentines Day I make pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast. We also make cards for grandparents and great grandparents with stamps and handprints. Sometimes we make the coupons to do something nice for eachother, or send them nice “love” notes. This year I bought some tiny little mailboxes at the dollar spot at Target. Perfect for leaving those notes and things. I love Valentine’s day!
We decorate for valentines as soon as we take down Christmas, just so we can enjoy it for longer!

To avoid the crowds we stay in and cook for each other. We started the lobster dinner and decadent dessert tradition the first year we met and have kept it going for the past 7 years. He cooks lobster and some yummy side and I cook dessert – last year was home made mud pie. Since we cook for each other it makes it special and we always look forward to our lobster dinner. Our two year old twins won’t be having lobster but we’ll make them a special dinner to include them in the fun.
Not so original or anything but I make the family pink heart shaped pancakes for Valentine’s day.!
And I like you. I like you A LOT!
Oh yeah what I love to do first. Me and hubs always go out to dinner. That’s our tradition and we’re sticking to it.

Most years my kids and I host a kid’s valentine’s day party. We invite our buddies and their mommies over, have a fun lunch, exchange valentines and play. My kids love it, and though I am stressed getting it ready, I love it.
my girlfriend hosts a get together for just girls where we drink wine, have dinner and bring a $20 gift for a gift exchange. I now look forward to it every year. fmgibbs@gmail.com
