for the month of January at Pretend City Children’s Museum, the calendar is packed with things that children can do and learn together that will benefit them inside and out. parents can start 2013 off right by helping their children to learn a few small lifestyle adjustments that can make a big difference for their family. with the help of staff and hands-on activities, they can learn about healthy living, eating right, exercise, and personal hygiene. make sure to check out what is happening in the Art Studio, and during the Daily Lil’ Me Mornings and Engaging Afternoons to help your child get the most out of building a “New You,” this New Year!
one of my kids favorite places in Orange County is Pretend City. and there are lots of fun events happening at Pretend City this month…even a day of real snow! be sure to check them all out.
speaking of bananas, Pretend City will feature a special night for an exclusive pizza making party with PBS SoCal’s Curious George! your child could be one of 25 children to sauce and toss the night away as we laugh and play with our favorite monkey.
included in the party price for this special V.I.P. event is dinner with dessert bar, access to the museum, a personalized chef apron, autographed Curious George book and a photograph of your little pizza-maker with the Curious George!
you won’t want to miss this exciting event that will have your child going bananas! event capacity is 75 children who will be making pizza in rotations of 25 children at a time. the museum will only be open for registered guests only during the event with fun Curious George-themed activities happening throughout the night.
Mickey’s Halloween Party is a separate ticketed event held at the always magical Disneyland Resort. as part of the event, you are allowed dress up in your Halloween costume and come into the park 3 hours before the party begins! once the party starts…you are in for a big treat!
